This policy explains how BotMe ( trading as BotMe, ) handles personal data. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us any time at hello@botme.lol.

What we collect

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: it sets no cookies, doesn't fingerprint you and only gives us totals such as page views, countries and referring sites. If you switch on the keyboard sound, your browser remembers that choice on your device (local storage). It's never sent to us and you can clear it at any time in your browser.

Fonts and code are served from our own domain. The only third-party script is Cloudflare's analytics beacon described above.

If you contact us on Telegram, Telegram processes that conversation under its own privacy policy. We only use the messages to reply to you and scope your project.

Why we use your data

We don't sell your data and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to.

Who we share it with

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for 6 years, as required for tax purposes. We keep project files and messages for up to 2 years after delivery so we can support you, then delete them. Server logs are kept for no more than 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete, restrict or transfer it. You can also object to how we use it. Email hello@botme.lol and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
